One of our Spiti groups spent an hour lying on the terrace of a homestay, naming constellations they didn’t know and watching shooting stars. No music, no phones – just cold air, warm chai and sky. Most of them still talk more about that night than any viewpoint.
In Konkan, mornings often start slow. On one trip, a “quick breakfast” in a small village turned into a long chat with the homestay family about mango orchards, monsoons and how the sea changes with each season.
After watching the light show at Marina Bay, a group decided to skip the mall and sat by the water instead, talking about their first trips abroad. Sometimes, the best part of the itinerary isn’t written on paper.
